A More Affordable Alternative

While the BMW CE 04, priced at around INR 15 lakh, stands as the most expensive electric two-wheeler in India, the CE 02 is set to be more budget-friendly.

Expected to be priced at approximately INR 5 lakh, it offers a more accessible entry point for consumers, despite being more expensive than the TVS X electric scooter, which costs INR 2.49 lakh.

Manufacturing and Development

The CE 02 is BMW and TVS’s first joint EV product, developed and manufactured at TVS’s Hosur plant. This follows the launch of the CE 04, which is imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) from Berlin, resulting in a higher price point.
